About Tübingen

Tübingen, Baden-Württemburg is located along the Neckar River in the Schwabenland of Germany. It's about an hour away from Stuttgart by train. Tübingen is really pretty. It has many nice views, especially from the castle; Schloss Hohentübingen, which was built in 1078. Now its home to a museum and even some departments from the University, such as the Archeology department. The Eberhard Karls University Tübingen (where I am right now) was founded in 1477. Crazy, right? I believe that the University has about the same population as UMass too; a little more than 20,000. The city has a great night life and some decent shopping too. I love how cute the Altstadt is. You don't see anything like it in America.

This is the view from Neckar Brücke. Its probably the most well known spot in Tübingen. And just one example of how beautiful it is!
